A Dream Born at Altitude
Haven & Crest began when founders Lukas and Maren Alder converted a century-old Zermatt chalet into a twelve-room hideaway for friends who shared their love of the mountains. Word spread. The waiting list grew. By 2010, a careful expansion brought the hotel to 42 rooms without sacrificing a single ounce of intimacy.
Today, the Alders still walk the corridors, greet guests by name, and insist on tasting every new dish Chef Laurent puts on the menu. The ethos remains unchanged: create a place where the mountains feel close, the service feels personal, and every detail — from the hand-carved room keys to the locally woven blankets — tells a story.
